Nurture Groups & Alternative Provision

SEMH nurture provision and alternative support pathways for schools and educational settings.

Nurture group provision supporting emotional wellbeing, belonging and relational development within schools.

I have extensive experience in setting up, establishing and leading nurture provision within mainstream educational settings. I support schools to develop new nurture groups and strengthen existing provision through curriculum development, staff training, assessment and emotionally informed practice.

Support may include:

  • Development of nurture groups and alternative provision
  • SEMH intervention planning and provision mapping
  • Curriculum and relational practice development
  • Staff training and emotionally informed approaches
  • Behaviour support and inclusion pathways
  • Assessment, reflection and strategic planning
  • Consultation around complex pupil presentations
  • Development of safe, relational learning environments

Where appropriate, this work is informed by the Boxall Profile, supporting schools to develop a deeper understanding of pupils’ developmental needs, strengths and areas for support in order to plan targeted, responsive interventions.

My approach is collaborative, reflective and tailored to the needs of each setting, supporting schools to strengthen nurture provision, relational practice and emotional wellbeing across the school community.
